Weisser Raeuschling - Historische Rebsorten (White Ruffle, Rauschling, Noiseling) RARE GRAPE white

"Already 1000 AD. the Rärmling came from Burgenland over the Danube to Bavaria. At the same time he found his way across the Drau to South Tyrol, into today's Switzerland and into the Rhine Valley. It has been documented in the southern Palatinate since the 16th century. As "Grobriesling" it appeared with Riesling in Rheinhessen and Rheingau. As a "Klingenberger" in the Baden Oberland. The Rärmling, which has the same parents as the Riesling, was one of the few grape varieties classified in the Reich until 1928."
