"In the past, historical grape varieties were imported into our wine-growing regions several times. The autochthonously valuable heat artist probably came from Styria or Croatia in the late Middle Ages. There was also a German settlement, the Liebfrauen, near Hateg in Transylvania, called Sintamaria-Orlea in Romanian. Based on its synonym "Black Orleans", the Zinfandel, like the Worms Liebfrauenmilch, possibly goes back to an export from Orlea or Liebfrauen in Transylvania."
