Popular in the 1800’s, especially in the Duna-Tisza rivers region. Nowadays officially grows on 0.2 hectares in Hungary. Late ripening grape. Mostly used in blends. Generally it can be described as having good structire, vivid acidity, ripe fruit and oily texture. It reflects perfectly the terroir.
