Schwarzer Malvasier - Historische Rebsorten (Black Malvasia) RARE GRAPE red

"The Black Malvasian probably came to Europe as early as the early Middle Ages. It was the time when the Upper Rhine Valley, the Kingdom of Burgundy, western Switzerland, parts of northern Switzerland and Piedmont were occupied by the Moors and Sarrazenen. The synonym "Black Prince" probably did not apply to the parent Cinsaut, but to the early black Malvasia. "Malvasier" stands for the highest quality wine!
