Osiris white

Osiris is a light, aromatic grape variety used in very small volumes to produce varietal and blended white wines. It was developed in 1951 by crossing Riesling with Muller-Thurgau.

Although Osiris is high in acidity and displays similar lemon-and-lime characteristics to Riesling, it lacks the distinction of its more prestigious parents.

A little Osiris is grown in California, but the variety remains a rarity.
