Kekmedoc (see Menoir) RARE GRAPE red

Kekmedoc is a dark-skinned Hungarian grape variety. It is named after the distinctive blue hue of its stalks.

Although its popularity is declining, Kekmedoc is a medium-bodied grape variety that displays many attractive aromatic qualities. Single varietal wines are very rare and are usually unsuited to cellaring.
