RARE GRAPE VARIETAL RESOURCE

Formerly cultivated species in the Conegliano area, to date it has been found in a single vineyard and recovery work is under way. Rustic variety, resistant to diseases and not very vigorous, gives a small and compact bunch, with berries with a particularly thick skin. The wine has a low alcohol content and a fairly high acidity, especially due to the addition of malic acid. This characteristic has an impact on wine, even if it significantly decreases as a result of malolactic fermentation. (Source: Umberto Teot - Vinonovo)
