RARE GRAPE VARIETAL RESOURCE

Blanchet is a grape variety already known in the pre-phylloxera era around the Villar Perosa area (TO) and mainly widespread in the Chisone and Germanasca valleys. Of good vigor, it ripens early and has a low acidity, which often requires it to be vinified together with other varieties. Its peculiarities are, on the nose, notes of medicinal and aromatic herbs.

(Autoctovino has yet to record a producer that cultivates and bottles the wine as a mono-varietal)
