RARE GRAPE VARIETAL RESOURCE

Alvarelhão is a grape variety grown on the northwest coast of the Iberian peninsula, particularly in the Douro Valley, Minho (home of Vinho Verde) and in Spain's Galicia region. The variety's wines are light and aromatic, displaying little complexity or aging ability.
