Widespread, but decreasing

Albarola is a fairly neutral grape grown in Liguria, Italy, traditionally blended though a few producers bottle a 100% option. Sweet, highly sought-after dessert wines are also produced. At one time also grown in Tuscany, the varietal is now only found in Liguria .
