RARE GRAPE VARIETAL RESOURCE

Albanella is a wine grape varietal grown in the Marche region in Italy where it is a primary component in the white Denominazione di Origine Controllata (DOC) wines of Colli Pesaresi. Seldom grown outside of the DOC, it is best produced as light, lively dry white wines with reasonably good ageing potential in large part due to its acidity.
