Aidani is a white-wine grape found mainly in the Greek islands, particularly Santorini and Rhodes. Often known as Aidani Aspro, it is seldom used on its own, often blended to make dry, semi-sweet or sweet wines contributing delicacy and aroma to the blend, producing floral-scented wines.

Aidani can be considered as an alternative expression of the great wines of Santorini or the perfect blending partner of Assyrtiko. It is a white grape, used to produce dry whites or, in less usual occasions, dessert wines that receive substantial aging in oak. Bottlings of pure Aidani are exquisite and worth hunting for.
