Aglianicone is a high-yielding Italian wine grape variety grown in the Campania and Basilicata regions of southern Italy, producing somewhat low quality wines. The color of the wine obtained from the Aglionicone vine is ruby red. On the palate it is fruity, tannic and full-bodied. It appears to be related to Aglianico, though not a mutation.

A few producers bottle it as a monovarietal (see Producers below)
