Both dry and sweet red wines are vinified from Agiannitis. The scent notes are reminiscent of mulberries, cherries and dried plants. The fruity, herbal, juicy red wines reveal a soft, mild acidity, fine-grained tannins and a powerful body.
Pure Agiannitis is a rarity. Iy is usually blended Chiotiko Krassero. In the cuvée, the Agiannitis pleasantly rounds off the rich tannin of the Chiotiko Krassero. (https://www.mygreekwine.de/alle-weine/rebsorten/griechische-rote-rebsorten/agiannitis)
