RARE GRAPE VARIETAL RESOURCE

Acitana is a rare dark Italian wine grape variety grown in northeast Sicily where it is traditionally blended in a minor role capacity, near Messina and Catania, with Nerello Cappuccio and Nerello Mascalese  

Only one known producer grows it and uses it as a minor component in a blend. (see Producer/owner below)
